About the organisation

Wellsprings Together is a vibrant Christian charity based at Church House, Leeds. We work closely with the Diocese of Leeds, churches, local communities and third sector organisations to bring people of all faiths and none together, empowering local action around poverty, community cohesion and inclusion. Our work is rooted in Christian values of justice, compassion and hope — and we are passionate about seeing lives and communities transformed.

We are seeking more trustees to join our Board of Trustees. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference in the life of a growing and innovative organisation. The Board meets quarterly, and the Trustees play a key role in overseeing the work of Wellsprings Together and supporting the small but dynamic team.

We particularly welcome applications from individuals from ethnically diverse backgrounds, as we seek to ensure our leadership reflects the communities we serve. We would particularly like to hear from people with experience in finance and HR.

This is a wonderful opportunity to bring your skills to a charity that is small enough to feel personal and relational but connected enough to make a significant impact across the region through its strong partnership with the Diocese of Leeds.

About the role

There are 4 Board Meetings per year, which usually take place in person in Leeds. Our trustees have different areas of expertise, and therefore are involved in governance around those areas - eg finance, young people, advocacy etc. The trustees would lead the team in their area of expertise.
