About the organisation

“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline”.

Kenilworth foodbank was a project founded by local churches and community groups in Kenilworth in 2012, working together towards stopping hunger in the local area. Warwick and Leamington Foodbank came into existence in July 2013, originally operating under the umbrella of St Paul’s Church in Leamington Spa before becoming a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in April 2015. The two food banks joined together on 1st January 2017 to become Warwick District Foodbank.

Working within Warwick, Leamington & Kenilworth, our vision is for Warwick District to have no need for a Foodbank. Our mission is to provide food & household essentials to those in crisis or living in chronic poverty in our locality.  Our values of compassion, justice, community & dignity are at the heart of our organisation.
