About the organisation
The Thrift Soham Community Land Trust, is a community led group that acquired land and affordable homes for the community. These are now occupied on a site at Covell Corner and operating well. The Community Land Trust is keen to establish Finance robustness and work to deliever additional projects for Soham Town.
About the role
The role of book keeping, accounts production a review of current financial controls and policies and submission to the regulator - this is a diverse and rewarding role. It is anticipated that approximately 5 hours per month will be required in addition to attendance and trustee meetings, which are held quarterly in Soham.
There may be additional work, should opportunities for future and new projects arise. Review of banking arrangements and input into rental and service charges would be welcomed.
Our ideal candidate
We are looking for a motivated, upbeat, experienced individual who wants to help the current board drive the organisation forward and help identify and deliever on new projects, to shape and create an ongoing legacy for the town.
