About the role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of those impacted by PMDD? PMDD stands for "Pre Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder", a severe mood disorder linked to the menstrual cycle. It is an often misunderstood condition that affects hundreds of thousands of people in the UK – but very few know what it is, including healthcare professionals.
The PMDD Project is growing, and we need a Treasurer to help us manage our finances and make sure we are staying compliant with legal requirements.
- Overseeing financial activities such as donations, partnerships, and grant management, ensuring all income and expenditures are properly documented.
- Assisting in developing fundraising strategies to support the charity’s goals, including funding research and creating resources for the PMDD community.
- Ensuring the charity meets its obligation to submit annual accounts and reports to the Charity Commission on time and in accordance with legal standards.
Our ideal candidate
- Previous experience with charity accounting
- Knowledge on how to produce financial reports
