About the organisation
Impact Education Multi Academy Trust has evolved from The Halifax Academy, to a single academy trust to Impact Education Multi Academy Trust, the MAT we are today.
Based in West Yorkshire, we are Department for Education (DFE) approved academy sponsor, and it is our mission to improve the lives of children who attend our academies/schools. We understand how important social mobility is, and we strongly believe that the minds of today are going to shape a better tomorrow.
It is our primary goal to inspire the minds and hearts of children, by ensuring that education is a fun and positive experience. We believe that this does not and should not apply to just children- our work should also impact staff, families, and communities for the better.
The Students of Today are the Future of Tomorrow
Our students of today are the future of tomorrow. We will ensure that every child who attends an Impact school is able to read fluently and become the wordsmith they aspire to be. It may be that they go on to become accomplished mathematicians, or that they simply refine their creative-thinking mindset to solve problems that have been present for years.
We achieve this by supporting a rich and diverse curriculum that considers the needs of all students, as well as enabling them to achieve their true potential and capability. By doing this, we believe we can help every student to drive and push themselves forward while giving support and encouragement to those who may be struggling. That is the level of dedication you can expect from Impact Education Multi Academy Trust.
Improving Quality of Education
We want to make sure that every school is a happy, enriching, and supportive place to be. Whether this is done through our rigorous recruitment of caring staff or improving the standard of education, we always set very high standards for ourselves.
This is one of the many things that has helped us to stand apart from other trusts.
Our high expectations encourage everyone to push harder, think out of the box, and embrace creativity. We believe that by applying the same standards we ask of our students to ourselves, we can create an environment that enriches the lives of everyone; creating a nucleus of positive energy.
