About the organisation
Charterpath is a charity on a mission to inspire finance professionals to volunteer their time and skills with charities, schools, community groups across the UK.
We deliver our mission through three strategies:
Inspire: sharing the benefits of volunteering through social media, events and thought leadership
Connect: matching volunteers with meaningful opportunities and delivering training and practical resources that strengthen charities’ financial capability
Engage: working with employers, professional institutes and sector leaders to embed skills-based volunteering into finance career paths
With one in two small charities fearing closure within the next 12 months, financial skills are among the most in-demand across the voluntary sector. Our volunteers help charities build financial resilience, allowing them to focus on their mission and maximise their impact.
Since 2020, more than 1,000 Charterpath volunteers have pledged their time, contributing over 30,000 hours of skilled support, creating £1.5m in social impact.
Our community includes 45% women, 39% racially and ethnically diverse volunteers and has an average age of 37, brining much needed diversity to the sector and helping create stronger, more inclusive and financially confident charities.
