About the organisation
Go Forward Youth is based a bespoke Hub in Camden, where we run projects to support young care experienced people. We build a community of people who really understand what that care experience feels like. We co-design projects that inspire, open up doors to opportunities for education, careers and confidence building. GFY was set up by people with experience of care, determined to create a sense of family, continuity and a better life for themselves and future generations, by actively making an effort to break the cycle of institutional intervention, build emotional intelligence and heal the trauma of family breakage and complex social disadvantage. We work with young people aged 18 – 25 at a time when they have to become independent without having the traditional support networks upon which their peers can rely.
About the role
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Charity Treasurer. If you have are good with numbers and are dedicated to helping others, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to contribute your skills.
Our ideal candidate
Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus.
