About the organisation

Falkirk Foodbank is dedicated to providing emergency food support to individuals and families in crisis within the Falkirk area. Our primary aim is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry during times of hardship. We operate on a referral basis, requiring agencies such as local authorities, debt advice services, health professionals, or job centres to refer individuals in need. This ensures that our support reaches those who are genuinely in crisis.

We provide food parcels containing five days’ worth of nutritionally balanced meals. These parcels are designed to offer immediate relief while individuals work towards resolving their underlying issues. Our service is not a walk-in facility; instead, we coordinate with various agencies to identify and assist those in urgent need.
