About the organisation

3ST is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) delivering health and wellbeing services alongside a community development function.

The organisation hosts the alliance for the voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector across North West London’s Integrated Care Board (ICB) region, ensuring sector-wide engagement, influence, and effective service delivery in the health system. 3ST has positioned itself as the central coordinating entity for VCSE contracts within the region.

About the role

Our charity is forming as the National Health Service seeks closer integration of services and tighter cooperation between health, local government, local businesses and communities and the voluntary and charitable sector. In our Northwest London patch we are positioning as a voice for the sector, able to respond to, to challenge, to coordinate and partner with the integrated care board.

 

This will be an exciting time to join our dynamic and collaborative board as we support the delivery of a broad range of Health and Wellbeing services across North West London. Our Treasurer will have specific key responsibilities relating to their financial knowledge and experience. And crucially, they will also help the full Board to understand and consider the financial implications of significant decisions.

 

Our new Treasurer will have a senior background in Finance and strong financial acumen. You will have experience of strategic planning and risk management along with strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities. We are a North West London based CIO and serve it's communities so a connection to or an understanding of North West London is an essential.

Our ideal candidate

Essential Experience and Skills

  1. Senior-level experience in finance
  2. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, risk management, and oversight of financial controls
  3. Qualified accountant with hands on experience of managing the finances of an organisation (or equivalent level, Qualified by Experience)
  4. Understanding of charity governance and trustee responsibilities
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  6. Experience in strategic planning and risk management
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  8. An understanding of or connection with North West London

Desirable

  1. Experience Knowledge of the health and social care landscape in North West London
  2. Understanding of integrated care systems and NHS structures
  3. Previous board or trustee experience
